Vanilla Ice Cream With Trust Issues On Top. Oh... And Sprinkles. [[For Mohinder - witnessof_fate]]

Sylar leaned against one of the pillars in the plaza just watching people, and waiting for Mohinder of course. He had no idea why the other had agreed to meet him. A smart person wouldn't have. That was disheartening because Sylar had always considered Mohinder to be very intelligent. But here he was, meeting a known killer under the pretense of ice cream. Sylar had to smirk at that.

It was funny, the game they played. And they both did. They both played each role, and it was fun, until one of them inevitably tried to kill each other, and then they needed to take a break. It always ended up back in the same place though. They always spoke again, it was just a matter of when, and why. But that was the fun part, never knowing when you were going to see each other again and in what circumstance.

Sylar watched as people walked back and forth past him. It was interesting; people watching. Especially when they didn't know you were watching them. They had no idea there was something so much bigger than any of them going on right under there noses at any given moment. Part of Sylar thought that maybe they were lucky. Ignorance was supposed to be bliss wasn't it? But another part of him was sickened on how most could be content with this boring day in and day out routine. It was bland, and not unique or special at all. How could you live that way? He had to wonder.

Shifting forward when he saw Mohinder approaching finally he graced the other with his signature smirk moving to stand in front of him.

"Glad you could make it Doctor. I was beginning to think maybe you were going to stand me up."

Bittersweet reunion: [For Niki/Jessica (doublepersona), for sixwordstories ]

It had been too long since he had last seen her. Their meeting had been quick, but one that he remembered. He remembered it well enough to know that she needed to be reminded exactly who she was dealing with. It was evening now...more than evening as it was well past midnight. The stores had long closed, and everyone had cleared out of the Plaza a while ago. To go home to their families, their lives, their jobs, whatever the case may be. What they knew to be true, was an entirely lower level of reality than the things that went on in the bigger scheme of things.

Leaning against pillar, Sylar waited. Waited for the faintest hint of footsteps. His expression was calm, with a slight hint of amusement playing on it as he replayed their conversation in his head. She thought that she was going to come here and kill him tonight.

He had other plans.

Intro Prompt: "After all, tomorrow is another day." [ for quotable_muse ]

The screams finally fell silent.

Sylar's chest heaved slightly as his hand dropped to his side, a smirk curling onto his shadowy features as he stepped closer to the body now on the floor. Carefully he stepped over and around the pooling blood on the floor before kneeling beside it, his head tilting to the side just slightly. His dark eyes examined his work with a sick sort of fascination. Darting out, his tongue briefly ran over his bottom lip.

The man on the floor had put up a good fight. Not enough that it would be remembered days later, but it had kept Sylar amused during the actual killing process. Now he lie there motionless. He had fought tooth and nail for his life? Why? He hadn't appreciated what he had. He had let a gift go to waste, obviously his life or the quality of it couldn't really mean that much could it? No.

Still, after every kill there was a lingering dissapointment. He hadn't got his hands on the abilities he actually wanted. Yes it was a nice addition to the collection, but still. If he could just get his hands on Peter Petrelli. For a moment the thought made a smirk curl onto his features once again, before settling back down as he glanced back at the body on the floor. He would get Peter eventually. Carefully he opened his lips to speak as if talking to the lifeless man next to him.

"I'm not going to worry about it too much." He said monotonously, his dark eyes were intense and his smirk didn't falter. "After all, tomorrow is another day." He paused. "But not for you."
